Absolutely – our mini PCs are designed with flexibility in mind.
RAM Upgrades
- TurnKey One allows for an upgrade from the base 8 GB DDR4 RAM to up to 16 GB (add a compatible SODIMM module).
- TurnKey Two takes this further, supporting upgrades all the way to 32 GB DDR4 RAM, ideal for heavier multitasking or multiple virtual machines.
- TurnKey Node redefines our approach in lieu of memory shortages. We’ve added two SO-DIMM module slots supporting up to two 32GB DDR4 RAM (i.e. 64GB max).
Storage Upgrades
- Both TurnKey One and TurnKey QBE support a single M.2 SSD expansion (up to 1 TB on TurnKey One; up to 2 TB on TurnKey QBE, depending on configuration).
- TurnKey Two includes two M.2 NVMe enabled slots, enabling flexible storage configurations such as:
- Dual NVMe drives (each up to 2 TB), or
- One NVMe drive + one SATA SSD (both up to 2 TB)
(For up to 4 TB total storage, split however you like.)
- TurnKey Node includes two M.2 NVMe enabled slots, enabling flexible storage configurations such as:
- Dual NVMe drives (each up to 4TB), or
- One NVMe drive + one SATA SSD (both up to 4 TB)
(For up to 8 TB total storage, split however you like.)
Why this matters
- Faster boot times and app launch with SSDs
- Smooth multitasking, virtualization, and media serving with more RAM
- Custom storage setups, perfect for separating system files and media or VM storage
