Diagnostics Telemetry Disclosure

Last updated: January 2026

Pulcro.io provides optional diagnostic and provisioning tools (including PXE boot, recovery, and imaging workflows) to help customers deploy, recover, and support Pulcro.io Mini PCs and related hardware.

This notice explains what information is collected when these tools are used, and how it is handled.

What data is collected

When a Pulcro.io diagnostic or provisioning tool is executed, the system may transmit technical diagnostics to Pulcro-operated servers. This data may include:

Device identifiers

  • Product serial number
  • Hardware UUID
  • Network interface MAC address
  • Requesting IP address

Hardware and system information

  • CPU model and system memory details
  • BIOS vendor and version
  • Motherboard and system identifiers
  • Kernel and operating system version

Storage and disk diagnostics

  • Disk inventory (device type, size, model)
  • Partition layout and mounted filesystems
  • SMART health information (if supported by the device)

Network status (non-content)

  • Network interface configuration
  • Routing information (no traffic inspection)

Important: Pulcro.io does not collect user data, personal files, application data, or network traffic contents as part of these diagnostics.

How the data is used

Collected diagnostics are used solely for operational and support purposes, including:

  • Verifying device identity during provisioning or recovery
  • Troubleshooting hardware or storage issues
  • Supporting warranty and RMA workflows
  • Improving imaging reliability and diagnostics tooling
  • Maintaining platform security and abuse prevention

How the data is stored

  • Diagnostic data is stored securely on Pulcro-controlled infrastructure.
  • Each diagnostic submission is logged as a point-in-time technical snapshot.
  • Access to diagnostics is restricted to authorized Pulcro.io technical personnel.
  • Diagnostic records may be retained for historical troubleshooting and quality assurance.

What Pulcro.io does NOT do

Pulcro.io does not:

  • Monitor user activity
  • Collect personal data or credentials
  • Inspect customer network traffic contents
  • Sell or share diagnostic data with third parties
  • Use diagnostics for advertising or profiling

When diagnostics are transmitted

Diagnostics are transmitted only when a Pulcro.io provisioning, recovery, or diagnostic workflow is initiated, or when a device explicitly performs a check-in as part of those workflows. Diagnostics are not continuously collected and are not transmitted during normal day-to-day use of your device.

Engineering and test devices

Engineering, development, or test devices may transmit diagnostics more frequently as part of validation and quality assurance processes.

Customer control

If you do not wish to transmit diagnostics:

  • Do not initiate Pulcro.io diagnostic or recovery workflows (either Plan B or the built-in tool)
  • Do not boot the device via Pulcro.io PXE or provisioning services

Pulcro.io diagnostic tooling is optional and intended to assist with support and recovery.
