🛠️ A Note About Our Software Installation Process
In today’s digital landscape, we recognize the importance of security, transparency, and product integrity. Our commitment is to deliver a stable, high-quality experience—backed by rigorous validation and minimal intervention.
All operating systems we provide are based on official images published by their respective authors. While they may not always be the most current version, every image is carefully tested in our lab to ensure compatibility, stability, and performance. We also monitor public feedback to better infuse our product update cycles.
We apply only minimal modifications—just enough to ensure a smooth and reliable out-of-box experience. For full transparency, here is a summary of what we configure:
- Home Assistant: No modifications made to the official image.
- Windows® 11 Professional: Only essential drivers are installed (graphics, chipset, audio, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth). Script that activates your Windows license and expands the file system to utilize the entire drive’s available space.
- FreePBX: Installed from scratch using Debian, with Asterisk and FreePBX plus all required libraries.
- Proxmox VE:
- Custom welcome banner with default credentials and IP address (clears after first login).
- Primary NIC set to DHCP; secondary NIC set to static IP (192.168.68.1/24).
- Thin LVM provisioning enabled for optimized performance.
- Includes Home Assistant as a sample KVM virtual machine.
Each Mini PC includes a recovery partition with a Debian-based Recovery Tool that we have created ourselves – allowing you to reset the device to its original factory state at any time.
